Erste Europäische Lärmkarte Ereignis

The European Environment Agency (EEA) has launched the most comprehensive map of noise exposure to date, revealing the extent to which European citizens are exposed to excessive acoustic pollution. This database contains information reported by EU member states and EEA member countries in accordance with the requirements of Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise. This database covers the data reported by member states and member countries as of 20th February 2009.

Die Europäische Umweltagentur (EEA) hat die erste Übersichtskarte über Lärmbelastungen veröffentlicht. Das Europäische Lärmüberwachungs- und Informationssystem NOISE (Noise Observation and Information System for Europe) bezieht sich auf die Richtlinie 2002/49/EG über die Bewertung und Bekämpfung von Umgebungslärm. Die NOISE-Datenbank enthält als Quellen von Lärm Flughäfen, Autobahnen, Industrie und große Straßen. Die Karte zeigt Daten zu Lärmquellen, die die EU-Mitgliedstaaten bis Februar 2009 gemeldet haben.
