Die deutsche Seelachsfischerei in der Nordsee ist nach dem Umweltstandard des Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) zertifiziert worden. Der Fangbetrieb ist der erste der in Deutschland zertifiziert wurde und nimmt damit eine Pionierrolle ein.

The German North Sea saithe trawl fishery has successfully completed the assessment to the MSC’s environmental standard for well-managed and sustainable fisheries. It is the first fishery in Germany to receive the MSC eco-label.
