Aktion Moos des Jahres
Im Jahr 2005 wurde erstmals das Moos des Jahres durch die Bryologisch-lichenologische Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Mitteleuropa (BLAM) ausgezeichnet. Mit dieser Aktion möchte die BLAM auf eine wenig beachtete Pflanzengruppe aufmerksam machen, die in Deutschland mit mehr als 1000 Arten vertreten ist. Moose reagieren sehr sensibel auf Veränderungen der Luft- und Wasserqualität und eignen sich deshalb sehr gut zur Beobachtung und Beurteilung von Umweltveränderungen.
Every year the Bryologisch-lichenologische Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Mitteleuropa (BLAM) selects the "Moss of the Year". 2005 the first "Moss of the Year" was chosen.
